Boondock Saints * * * *

This is an older movie, and we didn't get it from Netflix. Jeff saw it for sale at Walmart and thought it looked good. IT WAS!! Again, like the Departed, very violent. Can't let the kids watch this one! It's about these 2 Irish working class guys (twin brothers) living in Southy (South Boston). They are very devout Catholics and after a violent confrontation with members of Boston's Branch of the Russian Mafia decide to take something their priest said literally. They take it upon themselves to rid Boston of the evildoers. Drug dealers, murderers, pimps, child molesters, all the evil dregs. Has some interesting twists and turns. Very good movie! BTW, cat lovers beware.

The Departed * * * *

I thought this was an awesome movie with surprises in every scene! It was one of the best, if not THE best gangster flicks I've ever seen. Jeff really liked it too, but thought it was too long. The acting was great, but with Jack, Matt and Leo how can you go wrong?

Nacho Libre * * *

Ok, I loved it, Brady loved it, Jeff hated it. I thought it was goofy funny (except the fart and poop jokes, not a big fan of those) and was glad to be able to watch a movie with the 9 year old, instead of making him watch something else in the other room. Jeff just didn't like it. He's not a big Jack Black fan. Although he did like the movie, the title of which I can't remember, with Jack and Ben stiller where Jack's character invents a product to rid the world of animal droppings, becomes very rich and eats flan (whatever that is) for supper every night. Very Funny movie, I highly reccommend.
We rate this movie 3 *'s!

Had to start a new one!
